Dan Carlson, owner and artist, has been working with stone since we were established in 1976. He hand shape carves various materials, pitches mountains, and chisels a variety of textures. He is a true sculptor. In the past Dan has shape carved free-hand flowers from the 1920's era onto a large White Spice granite block to form a modern day sink. He's carved enlarged versions of the free-hand flowers on slabs of White Spice granite to surround a residential bathtub. And among other various projects, Dan has personalized all his different pieces to make them one-of-a-kind.
